Jenifer Jenkins
I am Jenifer and I currently live in Arizona since July 2019. I was raised in Nebraska and joined the Army National Guard right out of high school. I went to boot camp at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and AIT for 92Y Supply at Fort Lee, Virgina. Once I graduated from training I move to California where I deployed to Kuwait in 2008-2009 and served 11 years and 3 months when I decided my time had come to an end. During my time in the National Guard, I went to school to become a CNA. I became a caregiver in 2015 and did everything to treat my patients like my own family members. I am huge on patient advocacy as well as family members getting the support, they need to take care of their family members. I recommend patients to keep speaking out and searching for doctors who will listen and take them seriously.
I have 3 beautiful cats at home Liberty (13 yrs.), Betelgeuse (6 months) and Grimm (6 months) which are litter brothers. I was never planning on having 3 cats, but they all get along, are amazing and the purrs, snuggles and love is never endless. I am working on getting a service dog for my physical limitations, craziness I know. My time is currently spent taking care of my overall health and volunteering for this wonderful foundation. I like to help people in any way I possibly can, and I believe that helping others is best way to get enjoyment out of life.
